Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this site. It is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we fix problems when we find them.

What we have done

• Text and controls meet WCAG contrast ratios against the dark background; the palette was measured, not guessed.
• Every page can be used with a keyboard, including the menus, the question accordions and the calculators, and focus is always visible.
• A skip link jumps past the navigation to the main content.
• Images have text alternatives, and charts have a text description.
• Animation is subtle and switches off if your device is set to reduce motion.
• The site works without JavaScript for reading; the calculators and form need it.

Known limitations

If the anti-spam check on the contact form is switched on, it relies on a third-party service that may not be fully accessible. You can always phone or email instead.
